In this note, we deduce error bounds for
elliptic variational inequality
problems of second kind.
Especially, we perform the corresponding a posteriori error analysis
for a model friction problem with predescribed normal force.//
Furthermore we present some algorithms for solving the corresponding finite dimensional problems.
